I’m using the idiot-proof version of WordPress so I don’t get distracted designing and redesigning and micro-tweaking my blog instead of actually adding content. Tweak. Poke. Tweak. No.

I hadn’t ever spent much time on one continent at a stretch until recently. I tend to want to do to much at once now that I can, so when something starts tugging at me but doesn’t seem fully-developed yet I put it here to incubate or die.

I like: clever user interface designs, practical applications of bleeding-edge technology, compact well-made useful and beautiful gadgets and tools that really do what they promise they’ll do, metal (the material, mostly), cool DIY projects, and other people’s obsessive interests.

I’m also looking for smart, reliable, clever cunning people with some imagination and programming/graphics/marketing/world domination skills who like to discuss/develop random projects. Let me know if this is you.
